I am a follower of Jesus, a senior at George Mason University studying Marketing, the youngest of five, Lake Braddock Young Life leader, member of Redeeming Grace Church. I’m most likely at a coffee shop.
I enjoy hanging out with friends, working on cars, reading, finding new coffee shops, building things, and traveling.

I love Jesus, the Church, and have been pastoring for 12 years. I got my M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary but most of my schooling’s been at the School of Hard Knocks. I’ve worked as a pheasant farmer, toilet maker, construction worker, and in the military. My wife and I enjoy reading at coffee shops, taking walks, hanging out with our 3 kids, friends, and family.

I’m a city kid from Chicago who is seeking out God in new places. I became a believer at the age of 16 and am a recent graduate of Moody. My wife and I enjoy quality time watching movies, playing board games, discussing theology, and hosting Bible studies in our home. I live to serve the Lord for as long as I have breath.

I grew up working in farming communities. I didn’t want to serve the Lord, because of the poverty factor, I had seen too much of growing up. But, I later realized that what is visible in this world is not eternal—it’s all going to burn. So I applied to New Tribes Mission. I arrived in Indonesia in ’75 and by the early ’80s, there was a growing church. From ’91 until we retired our focus was discipling and networking churches. I still make trips back to visit our “family” in Indonesia—both biological and spiritual.
